Grensverleggende interactie
We put our mark on the exhibition about Judith, a compelling ‘whodunit’ about the king's daughter and first countess of Flanders that takes visitors back to the 9th century. We equipped the entire exhibition with advanced hardware and interaction technology, making it possible to unlock this historical puzzle in an innovative way. Through the frequent use of interaction elements, visitors became not just spectators, but active participants in the process of scientific research.
Technological innovation as the key to unlocking the past
The expo takes place at St Peter's Abbey in Ghent, offering the perfect setting for the search for the secrets of tomb S127. Interactive technology allows visitors to immerse themselves in the past and enhances the research on Judith. Through digital tools such as interactive tables, audio guides and augmented reality, visitors can experience for themselves the scientific discoveries made by archaeologists and historians.
Visitors are challenged to actively participate in the research process and gain new insights, just as the scientists do.
The power of collaboration
The combination of scientific research, the fascinating lives of historical figures like Judith, and powerful technology makes this expo a groundbreaking project that presents history in a new way.
We collaborated with Pièce Montée for the scenography and Danse La Pluie was in charge of content production.
