Closer to Memling Experience: a digital journey of discovery
A unique, interactive experience awaits in the attic of the St John's Hospital Museum: the Closer to Memling Experience. This digital exploration takes young and old into the world of Hans Memling, without compromising the authentic charm of the historic attic.

Smooth implementation thanks to thorough testing
After our previous digital realisations in the museum, we now had the honour of transforming the attic. In cooperation with Studio Louter, Shosho and Wondering, we elaborated the project from concept to implementation.
Through brainstorming sessions with the client, we determined the layout, content and interactive elements. In order to test everything thoroughly, we built a full-scale trial installation, in which both adults and children could try out the applications. This allowed us to guarantee a smooth implementation and the attic was transformed into a unique Memling experience in no time.

Create your own Memling work on a nearly five-by-five LED wall
Visitors discover Memling's 15th-century oeuvre through an immersive, digital complete experience. The eye-catcher? A gigantic LED wall measuring almost five by five metres. On a long touch table, visitors can work together on a unique group artwork. In fact, interactive games offer the chance to put together their own Memling and learn more about the master. Light and audio are fully tuned to the artworks, creating an impressive overall experience.
A unique blend of technology and art brings Hans Memling back to life.
