The museum in Hulst goes back to 1929, at that time it was still located in a former classroom. A while back, the Dutch museum decided it was time for a renewal.
The main goal?
Making the history of Hulst accessible to everyone. Both literally and metaphorically. Not only the accessibility of the building itself was tackled, the contents of the museum also received a revamp. The objective was to make it a museum for young and old that stays up-to-date.
The museum has undergone a true transformation and nowadays you can discover more about the rich history of Hulst in an interactive way. We took care of the technology in the building and did that with respect for the authentic elements.
Visitors discover more about the city through audio guides, touch screens, projection, etc. The guides are available in three languages and there is also a special kids' tour with tailored content. So even the little ones can explore everything on their own!
