- The challenge
- How do you make complex logistics innovations relevant, tangible and memorable for a wide audience?
- The result
- An immersive visitor experience in which visitors make their own choices, actively participate in the narrative and experience logistics innovation first-hand.
People don’t remember presentations. They remember experiences.
Innovation is often difficult to see. This is certainly true in the logistics sector, where many developments take place behind the scenes. Their impact is not always immediately visible. Yet it is precisely these innovations that are playing an ever-greater role within the sector.
As an experience and demonstration centre, LogiVille aims to inspire visitors about the future of logistics and provide them with insight into themes such as digitalisation, automation and circular logistics. Not through a traditional tour, but through an experience that actively engages people.
We were closely involved in the project right from the start. We contributed to the entire experience: from the initial ideas and storylines to the technical implementation, programming and optimisation. In doing so, we didn’t start with the technology, but with a clear objective: how do we ensure that visitors understand, experience and remember the message?
That question led to the creation of an immersive space in which visitors experience an audiovisual narrative whilst simultaneously having to make their own choices. During the experience, they are presented with various logistical challenges. Instead of responding via a screen or smartphone, they physically move to one of three zones within the space. Their choice immediately becomes part of the experience, allowing them to actively participate in the story rather than watching it from the sidelines. That is precisely where the power of the experience lies.
Large-scale projections, spatial audio, dynamic lighting and interactive elements come together as a single cohesive whole. Everything interacts with one another and supports the storyline. Even unexpected surfaces become part of the projection, ensuring that visitors are fully immersed.
