For two years, the Menin Gate in Ypres will be totally wrapped up. Due to extensive restoration work, visitors are unable to view the names on the Menin Gate, so the city of Ypres was looking for a worthy alternative.

We provided soft- and hardware and installed an interactive sliding wall in the CWGC visitor centre. This allows tourists and inhabitants of Ypres to continue to commemorate the fallen soldiers, even during the restoration. In addition, they will discover other information about the First and Second World Wars.

The advantage of a sliding wall is that it doesn't require much space to build a particularly interactive display. Thanks to audio speakers from Audac, there is an immersive experience in a limited space.
